HUDSON VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE
This community college’s student enrollment was on a downturn. They were competing against numerous other colleges in the up state New York area. They had an outdated educational image. We conducted focus groups with current campus students and area high schools students. This helped us create a new enrollment brochure and ad campaign that specifically targeted
a student’s decision process.
Enrollment increased and the recruitment brochure was awarded the First Place Gold Award by a nationwide admissions marketing publication. Featured in the publication was an article on the ad campaign’s success.
TEXAS STATE TECHNICAL COLLEGE
The name of the community college gave potential students the wrong impression. It was a tech college known for its auto mechanics classes. It had antiquated promotional material that created a very confusing educational image that was poorly designed in-house.
Our job was to create a new look, a new upbeat image and position TSTC as a solid academic college with courses fully transferable to a 4-year degree program.
We accomplished our goal by increasing enrollment in less than two semesters.
